I never in a million years thought I'd have had a car on a rotisserie, but I've always wanted a '71 B-body, and it was time to do one right.

keep posted to the picasa web. she's coming off the rotisserie this week.

Gotta sell a kidney for the paint job, though...

thanks everyone! I'll post again when I've got a few more up. Like I said, it was supposed to be coming off the rotisserie last week. I've got to take some wheels down to the shop for blasting and prep. I'm doing 15x7 and 8 inch cop rallyes, most likely painted to match.

there was a SICK sherwood green GTX on ebay a short while ago...just like what I'm going to build.

Thanks! I'm really excited about the GY9 color. I'm looking for the y6 medium gold interior color now.

That's the boat I was in. I've had MGB's and a 1967 porsche b*stard car (it was subaru powered, and silly fast), and subarus, and a BMW, my dad has a 1957 Austin Healey 100 in my garage (it'll be in Tom Cotter's next book, he wrote "Hemi in the Barn" and "Cobra in the Barn"). We've been Mopar people all our lives, except me, who's found his way back to the fold.

BTW, if you have a 1967 or 1968 build Big Block (like I do), and it came from Trenton, MI engine plant, there's a chance my dad inspected it, as he was working there as a summer job.

When it's upside down, that's the BEST time to weld in some frame connector reinforcements. I did my Satellite that way, didn't buy the XV one's, made my own from 2" square tube, tied 'em in on the cross member, and rear frame rails. Good luck!

Thanks everyone...it's great to have the support. I'll be seam sealing the last of it over the christmas holiday, then it's back on its wheels while I build the motor and save money for paint and finish work.
