Is that a 273? Looks like the old power pack heads. Looking good!

What's the aluminum head Ford FE hiding in the back??

Kind of looking like my garage!!

Thanks guys. Yes this is a 273 that came out of my1967 Coronet. This was a lot of fun building but was hard to get parts for. My friend is a machinist and engine builder he is teaching me as i go along we will be restoring my car a lil at a time. So things that we did was milled the deck and heads the cylynders were bored .30 over we got a static compression of 10:5:1.. We put a comp cam in i believe the lift is .477 i have to look at the cam card and get the duration.Like I said im still learning. My friend did all the math. We used comp hydraulic lifters and valve springs.
Stainless steel valves, mallory ignition. According to the computer program my friend has we should have about 330 horse power anyway this will only be in the car till the car is finished then we will be building a big block my friend is giving me a 383 block. I hope I described this well. If anyone wants to ask more questions i will be happy to answer them and try to be more detailed. Thank u for checking out my motor I will post some more pics of the car as i am working on it. Thanks again love this forum and all Mopars.

273s were stout little small blocks to began with, I had a friend who had one in a 65 Formula S, he smoked a lot of 289s and 283s with this thing.
