68383 08-03-2008, 09:42 PM Hello from the Central, MA area.
I'm into B bodies and am psyched because I just got my 69 Super Bee back from the tranny guy yesterday. Since a picture's worth 1,000 words, here are a bunch of them: http://public.fotki.com/69440/super-bee-clutch-an-1/
And here's the Bee:

And this will get you to one of my pages with lots of pictures of the Mopars I've owned and Mopars my family and friends own: http://public.fotki.com/69440/
Looking forward to spending some time on the site.

69 Runner 08-04-2008, 12:11 AM Welcome
I don't have a single good pic, but here is one of my (ex) 69 Bee. It was F8 and a N96 car.
GTXperience 08-04-2008, 01:08 AM Welcome to FBBO 68383!
charger70 08-04-2008, 01:13 AM And another.I sold a nice looking good running a/c equipt 360 powered 72 Swinger to buy this. in this condition. --no air---in AZ---- in the summer.
It had a good running 383, and I needed a running driving car while I finished my Duster--with a/c. I nearly ended up driving it thru 2 summers.
Now im driving my Duster--with a/c, I might add. This is now in a couple hundred pieces in my garage.
I'm guessing 2 years to go. Plans include going Black with a Red rump stripe a stroked 440, auto with overdrive, and yes---a/c.

Would that happen to be your zip code too?
Must be a nice neighborhood.
Any good real estate there?
kidsixpack 08-04-2008, 11:19 AM Here's one from New Bee over on Moparts that he is just completeing.

Funny on the zipcode. Actually, I picked the ID because my first Mopar was a 68 Charger with a 383 in it. I like the repetition of the 8s and 3s.
Thanks for the nice compliments on the car. I'm also partial to the picture of the other F8 Bee.
By the way, any opinions out there on adding Torque Thrust Ds to the Bee?

I've had nothing but Magnums on my B bodies for about 12 years and am getting tired of the look. Thanks again.
69 Runner 08-04-2008, 07:40 PM Those wheels would make ANY car look better!!!!!!!!!
And you mean my F8 car? It had 15" wheels on it. 6's on the front, and the 8" Ramcharger wheels on the back. And for those who don't know, those poverty caps fit really tight on a 4 bump wheel

Nodoubt! I think an excellent choice. I seriously considered them for my Duster, but had Cragar S/S on my high school car so went with them instead.
really close call tho.
Go ahead, pull the trigger.:wtg:
TeeWJay426 08-05-2008, 06:29 AM Welcome aboard, 68383. I'm not too far from you- in southern NH, just over the border from Townsend. The Bee looks great!
kidsixpack 08-05-2008, 10:34 AM I ran them on my 69 Bee last summer for a very short time. I'm not to happy with my tires or the off set of the rears. I'm trying to figure out what to do about it?

What was wrong with the tires and wheel offset?

Those aren't Magnums they are Road Wheels. Very common error, but I like the Road Wheels better. The D's do look great on just about anything!

I had this vision of what it would look like and it's just not there?

As many have said, there is no better better looking wheel out there on any car!:imho:
68383 08-25-2008, 05:16 PM I'm almost sold. What causes me to second-guess is I see them on so many Mopars it's not even funny.

As opposed to seeing Road Wheels, or Ralleys, or steelies with dogs, or......

I asked the difference between the two on another site and started a pretty nice controversy among some members.
At the end of the day, I realize they're Road Wheels from the factory. While I like the Chrome Magnums better, I think the quality of the chrome these days is inferior to what it was when these cars were new. My opinion's from a bad, personal experience with Magnums from Coker / Wheel Vintiques. I'll never buy another set again.
So if I don't go with Torque Thrusts, I might just have to go the steelie route.
