metal prep?

is this the metel prep that you spay on bare metal to keep metal from rusting till primer?It was give to me and not sure if its what I need to use.It says it Phosphate Conversion Coating It contains water,Zinc Salt,and Nickel Dihydrogen Phosphate . If it is the spay to prevent flash rust do you just spay it on and wipe it off (dosent say on the bottle)or what:confused:

Says primer has to be applied within 4 hours after using. You need the read the tech sheet of the primer you are using to see if it is compatible.
