For the original poster and others, I track 69 R/T convertibles and have been able to identify 63 US and Canada sold cars. If you have info on a 69 R/T convertible, I'd be interested in learning more. For the original poster....I have been able to identify at least one, and maybe two, early year VIN sequential runs of similar built Y2 convertibles. I'd be interested in knowing more about your car if you don't mind sharing. detmatt1 01-06-2010, 06:30 AM That is Sweet fellow Michigander! keep up the good work brother. 1969 convert 01-06-2010, 09:32 AM I love the 69 R/T,nice combo. Doug, Just put him on your ignor list. The general consensus is that he is a smart ass punk kid. In a few years HIS parents are suddenly going to "become" a lot smarter too. 426HemiCharger 01-15-2010, 07:24 PM 696pack Go stick it where the "sun don't shine". Oh BTW if you keep ruining peoples threads and attacking me on a personal level you'll have a worse rap than I (supposedly) have. You seem to be the one with the biggest problem with me out here. Most of the other members don't act towards me like this. It makes me wonder if you have anything better to do with your life. I really pitty the way you see me. This hobby needs young guns like you. YOU are the guys behind us old farts that will have to keep the Mopar torch lit or watch it die. YOU are important to this hobby and have a long but worthwhile journey ahead of you. IF you truly want to learn and IF you want to have credibility on the boards, I suggest you dial it back a little. Be more willing to pay attention to what someone is trying to do FOR you instead of what you think they are trying to do TO you. Be more willing to share and give than worry about what's in it for you. One is not able to learn until one is willing to learn. If you want to learn from me, and others on these boards, as you stated you did in an earlier post, here's where to start. Go to this site. http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library.shtml READ as much as you can in the library this weekend. LEARN where to find the information you need. I'm going to take you as a man of your word and truly interested in learning more about Mopars for now and the future. I will send you a quiz via PM on Monday. It will be an open book test. Your grade will be posted here for all to see. Success or failure for all to see is up to you. Will you pick up the gauntlet, young gun, and accept the challenge? Here's your chance. The Board awaits your answer. 696pack 01-15-2010, 09:37 PM Good one Doug. I normally would not have commented like I did but I have had some nasty PM exhanges with him. He thinks You and I are picking on him, but he has not seen the PMs I have had from others regarding his posting in the past. Your right, the hobby does need young blood to carry on, however at this point I don't believe it needs people with his outlook. Hopefully he will outgrow it. Just my two cents... One last thing. I really take my pride to heart so any real blow gets to me. I acknowledge I'm young and that some of the things I say/do may be on the stupid side. In the end i really hope tat this ends any disagreement and hope to put crap like this in the past. In essence I am willing to burry the hatchet and retract anything aslong as there are no more arguments and that any future disagreements are met in a rational way. Also that any future grievances or such are brought up in a more prudent way. So.... let the thread continue in it's original purpose. Clay Dots 01-25-2010, 12:19 AM Nice work, good looking B-body! ;o) mrkinger 01-25-2010, 06:50 PM Nice job. Richie 03-17-2010, 10:05 PM Very nice. Bens69PlymouthSatellite 03-22-2010, 07:10 PM Nice ass car 69coronetrt,I should just stay outta this argument, but to add my 2 cents I agree with MarPar on this one,all the guys on here are amazing and have been nothing but respectful to me and tolerating the dumb ass questions I may ask somtimes,I am a young mopar guy and a late bloomer being 26 yrs old and starting my first project unlike most people who have been doing this since they were kids,I am learning as I go and that is my intentions for being on this forum,to learn from the more experieced and to grow from them also to meet people who share the same love of mopars that I do,everyone else in my life has treated me like an idiot and told me I cant do this but none of these guys have done that 2 me at all,I love this forum and cant even fathom joining any other ones out there,we are the future of mopars w/o us these cars may not exist somday,we shouldnt attack each other there are plenty of ricer queers out there for us to attack(sorry if i offended any ricer queers if so what the hell are you thinking owning a mopar and a ricer, trade the ricer for a lawn mower or leaf blower much cheaper and dont contribute to the economical problems)sorry if I offended any actual queers, your preference is your prefernce,I would rather push a mopar than drive anything but one! 426HemiCharger 03-22-2010, 07:21 PM Nice ass car 69coronetrt,I should just stay outta this argument, but to add my 2 cents I agree with MarPar on this one,all the guys on here are amazing and have been nothing but respectful to me and tolerating the dumb ass questions I may ask somtimes,I am a young mopar guy and a late bloomer being 26 yrs old and starting my first project unlike most people who have been doing this since they were kids,I am learning as I go and that is my intentions for being on this forum,to learn from the more experieced and to grow from them also to meet people who share the same love of mopars that I do,everyone else in my life has treated me like an idiot and told me I cant do this but none of these guys have done that 2 me at all,I love this forum and cant even fathom joining any other ones out there,we are the future of mopars w/o us these cars may not exist somday,we shouldnt attack each other there are plenty of ricer queers out there for us to attack(sorry if i offended any ricer queers if so what the hell are you thinking owning a mopar and a ricer, trade the ricer for a lawn mower or leaf blower much cheaper and dont contribute to the economical problems)sorry if I offended any actual queers, your preference is your prefernce,I would rather push a mopar than drive anything but one! Hey it's cool now that argument is way over and I have no hard feelings. You are right that it is silly to attack eachother when it's the Ford and GM guys that should get it. United we stand, divided we fall, that is true to the end. Bens69PlymouthSatellite 03-22-2010, 07:57 PM Well put, sorry to beat a dead horse, glad all was resolved!back on topic nice ass coronet hopefully if my satellite goes well that will be my next b body! 426HemiCharger 03-22-2010, 08:17 PM I love it, seriously great work.
