And I appreciate you sharing it 5wndw! As mentioned in a post above, I got $30 off a new exhaust system. I tried to use it again to get a new trailer tongue box earlier tonight and got the invalid message as did the others. I ordered the box anyway since I needed it. Again, thanks. :yourock:

That little fact that they will give anyone 30% off should tell you something .....:yes:

many local shops will beat their prices.....:grin:

and every wholesaler or wd will kill them..:blush:

..PLUS get you fresh parts not shelf stale stock stored for god knows how long at their warehouse, procured from the manufacturer for who knows what reasons...:rolling:

Solution to that problem would be to rearrange the location of your head, back to the upper portion of your body, and place both hands back up on your keyboard instead of one being placed in your lap stroking away.. :grin:

Instead of slamming you I am going to suggest you not bring this place down with your negative and arrogant persona. Its people like you that drive away other members from posting.

BTW, the promotional code is for one time use but if you call and ask the sale reps what they can do for you they will fine a way to make the code work for your order. It worked for me.

My point was that Summit is not cheap.

Summit and Jegs both overcharge now.... many many parts are suggested list.... Your comments on getting the discount anyway, just highlights it...

Some people like to know this and incorporate the knowledge into the decision making instead of having internet posers push the big guys down their throats...

A real good mail order source for any parts at a rate sometimes way cheaper than both Scummit and Jugs is Northern AutoParts...both retail and wholesale.......:grin: and they charge actual shipping with no "handling" charge...

Put that in your list of vendors and watch for their closeouts, got rod bearings for 30 a set Scummit said were discontinued and Jugs wanted 20 X 8for the exact same part number.

Got main bearing sets for a real song, 100 bucks less then those big discounters....

Now don't go telling those Mofarts guys, they will get peed off that their friendly vendors ripped them off AGAIN.....:rolling:

Back to the original crust of the matter here, the original poster posted a promotional discount code to help someone (see what's going on here...helping others). I took advantage of this kindness and ordered a Mopar Performance stock 340 oil pain kit (w/dip stick, filler tube and pickup) and a stock oil pump delivered to my house for $94

Bad news: I posted a coupon on FABO last year for a code that gives you 10% off $75 or more until 8/19/10. It was so overused, they cancelled it.

Good news: If you call Jegs, it seems they will accept it as a competitor coupon but you may have to download the coupon and email it to the rep you are dealing with. If this is the case, let the shopping spree continue. ;)
