I went to a NSS race on Sunday at Mason Dixon in Md and took my 63. They said I could run the muscle car classes as I need the crossram to run the NSS. This track is in the mountains and has a little altitude to it. And it was almost 90 degrees so I knew I would be slow. They dail on every 1/2 second so it was going to be either 11.50 or 12.00 for me. I was sure I could not run 11.50's at that track in the heat and I was right as I was stuck in the 11.80's @ 113 all day. Thats 3 tenths and 3 mph off a good day for me. But it was a blast running the Pro Tree and trying to get a good lite in a 3700 lb 63 with 40 year old leaf springs and air shocks. As soon as we both staged and I saw even a hint of yellow I was on the floor and the best I could do was a 1.05 lite. But the best anyone I raced did was a .088 so I was not doing to bad. You really need a light car that reacts fast for good solid lites on a 4 tenth's Pro Tree. But I really had alot of fun and got to see alot of cool NSS cars. Ron
