Magnumguy 02-22-2010, 09:11 PM Hey Folks, would be cool to find my old dark blue Magnum GT. T-tops, 318, console, delay wipers, 9 1/4 lim.slip diff. Would love to know it's whereabouts.
It supposedly went to the NE states, maybe Connecticut. Has anyone ever seen it?

MarPar 02-22-2010, 09:29 PM Ask Rebel...he's probably got it squirreled away somewhere...:rolling::rolling:
Donny 02-23-2010, 05:54 AM Hummm...interest seems to be increasing in the M? body cars!
rumblefish360 02-23-2010, 08:55 AM There not M bodies. There B body cars, the last of the line, ended in '79.
69HEMICORONETR/TCONV 02-23-2010, 09:53 AM I predict the forgotten B's will gain popularity, but the down side so many of these car were crushed for weight over the last 25 years parts are going to be a challenge to find and will only get worse as popularity increases.
Donny 02-23-2010, 03:51 PM I don't think they are B Body's, I thought they were M, or even R body's, but, I may be wrong.
69HEMICORONETR/TCONV 02-23-2010, 04:01 PM They are B's , I think the Mirada was an M.
rumblefish360 02-23-2010, 06:18 PM I don't think they are B Body's, I thought they were M, or even R body's, but, I may be wrong.
Hey, I own one, look in the MoPar books, get over it, there B bodies.:rolling:
They are B's , I think the Mirada was an M.
I'm not totally sure, but you may be correct about that. I'll check the book later.
craigp 02-25-2010, 11:40 AM Magnum's are B-bodies.
old tired rebel 02-25-2010, 02:41 PM Magnumguy is one of the guru's of B bodies. And I have 2. A 78 Cordoba and 78 N code 400 Magnum GT with T-Tops. If I ever get both restored I will be a happy man.

69 Runner 02-26-2010, 03:44 PM Diplomat was an M body
Magnumguy 03-01-2010, 04:41 AM Yep, I'dl like to run across it, but it might be a Honda now, well, do they use metal in them? Maybe making the shim they're using to fix Toyatas :)
magnumminded 03-22-2010, 06:50 AM Mirada is a J-Body along with the 81-83 Imperials. 75-79 Cordobas, 79 Chrysler 300s, Dodge Magnums 78-79 only were all considered Late B-Bodies. R-Bodies are Dodge St. Regis and 79-81 Chrysler New Yorkers. M-Bodies are 82?-89 Dodge Diplomats; Chrysler 5th Avenues, Plymouth Gran Fury.
d9103365 09-19-2010, 09:34 PM late 70's b bodies share many parts with the early 70's models. Many parts will interchange. Almost the same cars in different skins. Look at the roofline and doors on a cordoba and compare them to a 71 road runner or charger
Citrus1973 01-27-2011, 01:24 PM They're...
mousehousemoparman 07-26-2011, 01:03 AM There seems to be much confusion on this site or at least this thread as to what car falls into what body designation. I will try to set this straight and go thru each as I know them. A-Body consisted of most of the compacts from 1960 thru 1976. They included the 1960 to 1962 Dodge Lancer, 1963 thru 1976 Dodge Dart, 1971 thru 1972 Dodge Demon, 1973 thru 1976 Dodge Dart Sport, 1960 thru 1976 Plymouth Valiant, 1964 thru 1969 Plymouth Barracuda, 1970 thru 1976 Plymouth Duster. B-Body consisted of 1975 thru 1979 Chrysler Cordoba, 1966 thru 1977 Dodge Charger, 1962 Dodge Dart, 1966 thru 1974 Dodge Coronet, 1978 thru 1979 Dodge Magnum, 1969 Dodge Daytona, 1975 thru 1978 Dodge Monaco, 1962 thru 1964 Plymouth Fury, 1975 thru 1978 Plymouth Fury, 1963 thru 1970 Plymouth Belvedere, 1963 thru 1974 Plymouth Satellite, 1966 thru 1974 Plymouth GTX, 1970 Plymouth Superbird, 1968 thru 1975 Plymouth Roadrunner. C-Body consisted of 1965 thru 1974 Dodge Monaco, 1975 thru 1978 Dodge Royal Monaco, 1965 thru 1972 Dodge Polara, 1965 thru 1978 Chrysler New Port, 1965 thru 1978 Chrysler New Yorker, 1965 thru 1974 Plymouth Fury, 1975 thru 1978 Plymouth Gran Fury. E-Body consisted of 1970 thru 1974 Dodge Challenger, 1970 thru 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. F-Body consisted of 1976 thru 1980 Dodge Aspen, 1978 Dodge Super Coupe, 1978 Dodge Kit Car, 1976 thru 1980 Plymouth Volare, 1976 thru 1980 Plymouth Roadrunner, 1978 Plymouth Super Coupe, 1978 Plymouth Kit Car.. J-Body consisted of 1980 thru 1983 Chrysler Cordoba, 1980 thru 1983 Chrysler Imperial, 1980 thru 1983 Dodge Mirada. M-Body consisted of 1977 thru 1981 Chrysler LeBaron, 1982 thru 1989 Chrysler Fifth Ave, 1977 thru 1989 Dodge Diplomat, 1982 thru 1989 Plymouth Gran Fury. R-Body consisted of the 1979 thru 1981 Chrysler New Port, 1979 thru 1981 Chrysler New Yorker, 1979 thru 1981 Dodge St. Regis, 1979 thru 1981 Plymouth Gran Fury. I have excluded the front drive cars and have other exclusions such as the Chrysler 300. I felt I would rather exclude a model rather than post an error. I hope that this clears some confusion.
