'70 Superbee Power bulge hood scoops

I've seen the power bulge hood scoops painted black on some 70 Bee's, was this ever done at the factory? I like the look of it but I don't want it if it's not original.

They were body color from the factory. And frankly I like the bulge hood more than the N96 hood on a 70:grin:
