backup light wiring on 727

So I have a 68 satellite with a 318/727 and I dont have the original transmission harness. I have a wire running from the starter relay to the neutral switch and that works fine, the wiring diagram shows the other 2 posts on the neutral switch going to the bulkhead block but it doesnt specify which wire goes to which port on the bulkhead. Does it make a difference or can either wire go to either place?
