I was after a cracked up rallye dash that I could butcher without feeling guilty LOL. I loaded it with some Auto Meter Ultra Lites and thought I would post a pic if anyone else has an idea to go the same route.

Not bad,I did the same thing last year but I hand sanded all the wood grain smooth and painted the cluster gray then I extended the gauge clusters holes and then mounted Autometer sport comp gauges..If I ever remember to get a new batt for my Camera I'll post some pic's.

That second pic there sundance looks amazing, nice interior REALLY nice.
My old linear dash was toast, nothing worked which is why I opted for the rallye swap. I found a cut dash for $50 and had bought all the gauges for under $200 brand new..couldn't go wrong. I had done quite abit to it over the winter, and now I am done till next winter, if I still have it LOL.

Here'e one I just finished--started with junk ralley that had radio cut out. Mounted radio and relocated light and wiper switches to metal dash frame. Made a clay mold of small pod did a resin casting and mounted it in old light/ wiper switch locations. used filler primer and wet sanded to get rid of alot of the wood grain. Rewired entire dash- can now be removed without disconnecting radio or light and wiper switches-- installed "GLOW-SHIFT" fuel, water temp., oil pres., tach. and spedo.

Awesome!!! I love modern updates on older cars... especially when they are done very well like these, so it looks like it could have been original.
Good job guys...
I work with E.L. and have been planning to convert my 68 Charger dash to being back-lit with E.L. like my 06 Charger for a very long time... still one of my "to do" items.
