I don't know who's idea "FBBO live Ebay feed" is, but I don't like it. If I am looking for something and it is not in our classifieds, I know what buttons to press to get over to Ebay. I'd rather not see this site get cluttered up with a bunch of ads, it's like network television all of the sudden in here. Would you rather watch "BULLIT" with or without commercials???

Joe is doing that as a favor for everyone. They are not his adds or parts. He is just posting those for people whoe might be looking for those parts. I was a little miffed at first until it was explained to me by a member.

I don't want to see all of these posts/ads either. I'd be fine with them if they only appeared in the for sale section, but they clutter up the new posts page. Is there any way to filter the new posts page to remove these? I tried putting "FBBO eBay Feed" into my ignore list, but that doesn't keep the posts from appearing on the new posts page.

I agree with Matt and Charger. The eBay feed should be a separate forum. I liked the fact that I could come here and look for parts and such from fellow B-Body owners. Now the whole page is eBay links. Booo.

Joey enacted this over on FABO first, and it's been on for many months now. I have already said something about it being on here, and he said that it was well received on FABO (since I don't go there much anymore, I had no idea)
At any rate, he's giving it a shot on here as well. If it turns out very few people like it, I'm sure he'll shut it off. (it's an automatic feed from ebay)

No problem for me. I can ignore it if I want or not.

I did reduce the number of posts - so hopefully it will be less obvious...

Do you feel like paying for all the hosting and up keep of the forum? if not, then live with the ads. They pay the bills and keep the forum in running condition at no cost to us.

Well, I see this is an older thread... But!! I did find something I was in need of from the listings... A pair of big block engine mount ears for the K-frame so I can swap out my 318 for a 383. And they were half of the cost of a Schumacher kit. So I don't mind it.

I'm over it, it's all good especially if it is helpful.

It's been on FABO for a while now and has been accepted with mixed emotions until it was explained that it is mearly a helpful jesture on makeing it known of parts that some of us may not be aware of. Believe me, i need all the help i can get when looking for a part and this is mearly an asset to an already up and coming great site. Thanks Joey.
Now i need some floor pans for that 64 Savoy...........well?
