Hey I was curious if anyone has any info on wheel and tire size combos that actually fit my 67 belvedere hardtop coupe... Right now i have 15" cragars and the rears rub... Im interested in buying some torq thrusts but I dont want to spend money on wheels and tires that are going to rub... any data would be tits!

Anyone here with modern versions of 15" Torq Thrust Wheels on your 67 belvedere that fit great... care to mention what offsets and width's of the wheels you got and the tire brand and sizes? That info would be really helpful

There have been several threads on this subject. I'm sure if you do a quick search you'll find what you need.
If I remembered the sizes, I'd tell ya:edgy:

That seems to be the issue, most people dont remember the offsets and tire sizes by heart in order to post the answers lol
hell, even I didnt untill I got off my butt and checked
Since my rear 15" Cragar S/S wheels rub in the rear, I currently have 255/60's on them and the outside rubs the rear fender but no inner fender rubbing....
I did search the hell out of this forum and others and so far found a guy whos says 245/60's fit nicely on his 67 satellite. So it looks like im going to have to fit a smaller tire.
Heres his post online:
I run 245/60-15's on a 15x7 steelie with 4-1/4" backspace in the rear on mine. This is the perfect wheel, in my opinion, as it centers up perfectly. The 245/60's fit really well, with about 3/4" on each side clearance (just enough to get your hand up inside the wheel well to clean the tires when you wash the car). If you're looking to have reasonable clearance and not have any rubbing, I think mine is the optimum setup. However, if you're just looking for the widest tire that will possibly fit, You could go a little bigger. I'm sure 255's would still fit pretty well, or obviously 70 series tires would fill up the wheelwell a little more.
