Engine swap?Small Block 09-14-2008, 06:45 PM Think 62 plymouth belvedere post car. Now has a 318 poly setting between the fenders. I have a 413 with str 14 cross ram that will be going in it. What will need to be changed? What motor mounts will i need? Any cutting or changes to the K member? I don't know so i thought it wise to ask. I'd love to have original exhaust and will be looking for a pair of max wedge heads. For now tell me about the motor swap please. BTW i'm Small Block over on A bodies. Thanks Easy swap.They used two V/8 K frames.The early had a seperate bracket that bolted to the K frame and the motor mount bolted to the bracket.The other had the mount bolt directly to the K frame.Either will work. Here ya go: 1964 parts for sale: 1964 426 max wedge orig 518 heads bare, nice shape, no damage, but have been slightly cleaned up in the intake ports, but no damage or cracks or any welding or seats or stripped-out holes; valve covers; 1964 original max wedge crossram intake; 3705 carbs; $3,500.00 for the complete set up.
