Parking light housing color

On my '69 Runner, what are the front parking light housings colored. It looks like they used to be a flat black on the outside and the inside is plated zinc or something like that. Does anybody know? Thanks.

Best I can tell on my 69 RR the outside was a light green - kind of like a zinc chromate color - and the inside was white. I found a can of green paint at the hardware store that matched the outside color very well and just painted the inside (bulb area) gloss white. I'm sure I still have the green paint and can get you the color and brand if you're interested.
