BTW: We have do have a few coyotes here locally but the main predator are Mountain Lions.

I have two Weimaraners (dogs) that I have read alot about theier history. They were used in Germany, in the republic of Weimar, to hunt large animals until the larger animals became scarce. They were then used for small game and mine are always bringing me rabbits, birds, moles, and squirrels. Most of the time they are dead, but sometimes they will drop them (upon my command) amd the animal will run away...again. I do not hunt, but I read that you have to use them for hunting in Germany.
