thebankerstoy 09-18-2008, 07:30 PM Ok, I thought about selling blood, taking new test medicines for pay, selling my left nut and even after all of that, I'm still gonna be a little short, so I'm gonna ask Santa to put it under my tree this year!:christmas_presents::Santa1:

GTXperience 09-18-2008, 11:32 PM I have a feeling this '65 was built by Julius (Restorations by Julius). It just looks really familiar.

If he were to put that sucker underneath my Christmas tree, I'd PROMISE to give it a good home and not scare little kids and animals in my neighborhood.........much!
As far as the black and red color combo goes, how can you not love that? That thing is just KILLER!

Gee makes me jealous, earlier black and red plymouth with a little hemi and auto.
Why did the guy use a white headliner? You actually think someone sprang for it?
Does it come wif custom fitted mini skirts for the driver...:tongueflap::grin:

Yep, it's an outrageous price and no, it wasn't sold at that price, but that's not the point. The point is, that is an AWESOME car and I'd LOVE to have it. As far as the white headliner goes, I noticed that, but do you REALLY think that's what folks would be looking at if you pulled up in that beast? As with everything else in life, it's all a matter of taste and for me, the 65 Belvedere's and Satellite's are the coolest B-Body cars ever made.

I have to agree and I like you own a 66 Coronet, but you just can't beat a 65 Plymouth B body. They have it all, front, rear and side view.

I totally agree. Don't get me wrong, I REALLY love my 66 Coronet 500 and will keep it forever, but if I had to admit the complete truth, I was looking for a 65 Belvedere or Satellite in 1989 when I bought my Coronet, but couldn't find one in my neck of the woods, so I bought my 66.
The fact that the 65 models made it possible for the A990 and altered wheel base cars doesn't hurt their appeal either.
