I just had a car shipped from Washington to Texas for $825, but it ran. And since the carb is on backwards I'm guessing this one doesn't run, so it would cost more to ship.

I'm not worried about the cost of shipping..... It's that with the cost of the car. lol

everybody always got or found a better deal
if it had the carb on correct, yall bitch it was'nt the right carb
if it was the right carb yall bitch it was nt a 4 barrel
then if it ran yall bitch about the police interceptor 15 in wheels and it only being a 2 bbl
or that the stereo was in the seat and not in the dash ,then if it was in the dash ,someone would complain it was only a am not a am/fm
its amazing someone always thinks they can one up everything or every body when they try to sell something
50 $ and the motor will run
damn i'll jack the price to 10 g's , seen what crap has been selling for lately with out the matching # motor and trans ???????
hell i might keep it put 12 g's and a couple of hunded hrs in it and sell it for 30 g's

Dude...take a chill pill. I wasn't bitchin about your freakin carb. Matter of fact, I was trying to help by posting what I just paid to have one shipped. And what I paid was really pretty cheap.

And I don't believe you ever mentioned if it would run, so I said "And since the carb is on backwards I'm guessing this one doesn't run, so it would cost more to ship."

But you're right. It's your car. You can present any kind of image for it you'd like. And you've presented a really good one for yourself AND the car.

if the engine did run would nt a real mopar man pull it and do a total rebuild with allll the goodies anyway????
like i said needs a total resto ive got 2 big $$ cars ahead of this one(67 match# rt and 69 coroner rt conv) and i want some one to have a pretty solid charger thats all ...........

Again. I wasn't bitchin about whether it was the correct carb, or the correct wheels, or the correct anything. I was speculating that the car didn't run.

And I generally do full blown restos on my cars as well. You may, or may not, have seen my Six Pack challenger in a magazine or a calendar, or saw in in a recap of the P.S.M.C.D.R. when it was one of the 12 fastest Certified Pure Stock muscle cars in the country. My Hemi car will get a full blown as well.

So again, ease up.

I think the only point 69 runner was making as far as it not running was that it would cost more to ship it since it wouldn't move under it's own power on and off the trailer... and that would be correct as i've looked into shipping cars in the past.
No one was complaining about your car in the least. It's a very nice starting point.... one that I would not only love to see in my garage but would rather see there than my '68 340 S ( The reason I made the comment about not being worried about the shipping, rather the combination of the shipping and the cost of the car..... My money is being tied up in my Barracuda).
We're ALL friends here, I know we run into some A-holes but that doesn't mean that everyone is just a cheap ass that wants something for nothing and will complain until they get it.
Due to my peronal situation ( that I don't feel anyone should work around ), the only way I could make anything happen with yours ( or anyone elses ) car was 1) if you were closer to me, 2) If you wanted to trade for anything I have. That doesn't mean I can't comment on the car you have and how I think it's a good deal, or wish that I had the means to make it happen. After all what is the drive we have behind this hobby....... Dreams of what can be, and what can come of the opertunities we have. How many Mopars have you looked at and not thought about what you would do with them ( in some cases that parts that would come off them? I doubt any ... just like the rest of us) My dream and simple wish that you were closer just kept your add a fresh topic for more to see.
If you don't drink, I'll have one for you so we can all calm down and get back to business.

Hell, I wish I had the cash! If I did, I would be on my way with the trailer. He's close enough to me, but my checkbook has nothing but dust in it right now.
