Monday found my oil pan for early big block. And yesterday scored a part I've been searching years for. An NOS 62/63 speaker grille!

When your looking for parts nice to find them and at a price you can afford. Saw some rubber bumper guards on ebay been watching for them for years Price was to high for me, but somebody bought them.

Don't need some for a 62 plymouth do ya?

Thanks ! I have a 66 Satellite I buy for. I'm only really buying parts for the person who will own the car in the future. I'll never restore my car, I'd rather drive it. Most of the parts on my car are in good shape.

My nos speaker grille came with a sticker that says to paint it the correct color....never seen one that was colored, cool find

It shows up tomorrow. Ad listed that it says "paint as required" so I wonder if they used different colored base plastics then painted to match? But on other hand there's guys posting on another site they have an NOS red one new in box? When it comes in tomorrow I'll take a pic and let you know what I find.

Max wedge.....looks like a bit of work there to correct it! Those bloody racers back then ...
I saw that on eBay....where you the seller or buyer?

I was lucky and just needed to correct some crush damage

I was the seller....but didn't really care if it sold or not.just a little fishing..I like this old race stuff...it def needs a little TLC but im not doing the resto thing this time.. take the baffles out and smooth them and reinstall.patch the xtra pick up..some filler on the outside to smooth it also and good to go....show or go!a guy asked me if it was for sale..i said well theres no for sale sign on it but then again...everything I own is for sale .................................................

Came in today. Is unpainted and definitely new. Looked up up part number in my parts manual and I guess they did come in all different colors. This one is cocoa which is fine because my other car needs that color. The part number on package calls for the grey one so either was mispackaged or ? Either way I'm super happy to finally find a new one at great price :)

Excellent job. Looks great. That's an Antique Roadshow item.

Now if you don't mind can you find me one too?

RT your post and picture (grille with auto parts obsolete ) prompted me to go on their site to see what other 1962 dodge parts they might have..( I know you brought it off eBay...but what the hell )..well I just scored a NOS reverse lens for my polara 500 ! Very rare indeed.
I had one NOS lens already and was searching for 3 years for another...then bingo, and only $28 ..lol .. Now I have the matching pair :thankyou:
