Anyone else into bicycles around here? Here's my latest build: 2001 LeMond Zurich. I always liked these steel LeMonds so I decided to build one for daily riding.

Rides like a dream and is surprisingly light at just a tick over 17 lbs.

I have a few, more into the bmx style, I have a HARO, redline GT, and a PK Ripper let's see who knows that one lol.

lol,pk rippers,theres some memories.
when they first came out,i broke 5 of those things and a couple of the quadangles too.
i still have some ohio freestylers, ones mint in the trailer.
one frameset is so rare its the only example known.
still have a couple boxes of bmx stuff,to swhinn grasshopper slicks and so forth.
would love to get rid of it all.

bitd,i raced for redline and i also ran a bike shop.
i also helped build the towns track for the kids, and get the park setup/ramps n all.
the one bike i miss was my rl22.

nowadaze,i ride a modded chopper bike around town.
thats a nice bike you have Ht,my back tire and rim probably weigh more than your entire bike.

I've had a few P.K's.. Quad Angles, Torkers.. think I tried them all. I collected some for a little bit, but I sold most and got out when they became too damn expensive. I still have a Haro Mirra Pro and a DK. I have a Specialized P-2 that I ride now.. much easier on the knees

What about the old-school "Stringray" (?) 5-speed bikes with the tiny front tire, springer front end & shocks on the sissy bar? I think they came in red/blue/green. I see guys riding them at cars shows every once in a while.

Oh yeah now you're talkin. I still have my old '88 GT Mach 1... let's see if I can upload pics...

Here she is. What you see is how I rode it in the 80's... with the exception of the wheels. I hand built them probably 7-8 years ago from NOS 80's pieces.

I also had several mongoose's and a supregoose....

I also broke aluminum frames and bent mild steel.

Had to have a full cro-mo Mongoose.

I also tested parts durability for K&G bike shop which eventually became DK.

Zrims.....how many spokes did i wreck???? Alot!!!

Haha, 2 buddies of mine had Z rims. One of them would turn them into tacos and they'd bounce right back... until suddenly they didn't lol.

Too old to share the road with cars. Still mountain bike, just not as crazy as I used to be. Carbon fiber frame and full suspension. Perfect for an old man...lol

I don't know that I'd say I'm into them but recently bought my daughter and I a couple BMX bikes at her request. She's got a Haro and mines a Kink, nice bikes.

I'm finding it more enjoyable than I thought I would but have already skinned myself up riding wheelies.... tough learning new tricks at 41 lol.

My wife and I have been riding BMX bikes for years, they are easy to take with you and lightweight, mine is an SE Assasin and wife's is an aluminium Mongoose Expert.

Oh man....had lots of home built Stingrays etc but nothing special. Most of them were from parts gathered at the town dump when they used to let the kids dig stuff out. We got all kinds of stuff including old edger motors that we used on go carts and the like. Fast forward several years the bikes got put out to pasture when I got my driver's license. Today, I have a 10 year old Trek 3500. I guess it's ok for the money.....free.
