2017 7th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Time For Your NITRO Fix! Get Ready To Make Your Picks!!!

this is the best I have done yet ....I would do better if I didn't pick Hagan for every race but friendship wins out on that one

CLASS ACT!!!
Vance & Hines team co-owner Terry Vance called Chip Ellis on Wednesday and invited him to ride a new Harley-Davidson Street Rod Pro Stock Motorcycle at the Finals in Pomona as a tribute to Junior Pippin to honor all he has done for the sport of drag racing. He also asked Chip to wear his Junior Pippin leathers at Pomona.
Andrew Hines tested the brand new ride at Las Vegas following the NHRA event last weekend and told Chip the bike is a good one and would have qualified second at the recent Las Vegas event.

Bud or Nick - will one of you just win this thing already?! I don't think an FBBO member has won it yet. I'm doing my best to beat Ski to the bottom. :rolleyes:
I'm trying, been trying since the 1st time 1st year :lol:

I pick with my heart too much,
some guys/gals/racers teams I just won't ever pick... :mad:

Following NHRA's lead, the round win points for the Finals at Pomona are going to be 15 points each round instead of the usual 10.
OK I think my sometimmers :poke: must be acting up
I haven't got much sleep lately :lol:

I thought so, just wanted confirmation

That's my story & I'm sticking to it...

Just Win Baby {wait that's football}

Classy, indeed! We talked to Junior at Indy in 2009, I think it was. Really friendly and nice guy. All the best to him.

Ummm...Don't like to brag but I did win it one year. You can call me "Champ".

Or as this year is gong "Chump". Choice is yours, I'm OK with either.

Pomona World Finals
I'll go with...

T/F Steve Torrance
{was thinking about Britney Force, home track}

F/C Ron Capps
{he's my guy I've rode him for most all the season, but I think
one of the Force team, John, Robert, Courtney may win it, home track
I hope Capps wins the championship again, he's my favorite racer}

P/S Bo Butner
{was thinking about Greg Anderson}

P/SM Eddie Kraweic
{was thinking about LE Tonglet}

let em' ride baby, rolling the dice
I know both my T/F & F/C picks
are both different from the 3rd place {cuda20} anyway...
I'm only 4 pt's ahead of him...

The leader {stroker340} hasn't picked yet

Hope it's enough different to get some points up on him
I'm 33.5 pt's back, with 1-1/2 X's pt's value available...

Good Luck everyone, especially US FBBO guys
I need all the points I can get....

{I did win the NASCAR Pick Em' game a couple years back,
I've also gotten close here twice, but still a brides maid,
I gotta' seal the deal}

Fun Game as always, no matter the outcome,
thanks to ocdart for all the great work he does :thumbsup:

OK guys, your call...
Current game leader, 'stroked340', carried over his usual picks even though he didn't get them posted before qualifying started.
OK to allow them for full event bonus points? Or no bonus points and only allow round win points?
Let me know which way y'all want to go.
I also posted this on FABO for players from there to reply.
