So, I'm interested in what you all think is the best mod you have installed.
Guessing disc brakes, electronic ignition.. however, anxious to hear what you think.

THANKS!

Since I still have drum brakes, I'd have to say electronic ignition.
That said, I didn't install it, I bought it that way.
Disc brakes are in the back of my mind, but it's a survivor so I hate to change too much.

Can't rule out good springs, heavier torsion bars, and beefier sway bars. These old cars were good in a straight line. Not so good at cornering. The items listed above are the first step in getting better handling. You can go all out and upgrade control arms and add coil over shocks. I was just trying to say that these items show immediate results without spending big $$$$$.

For me so far, (power) front disk brakes. Second would be the Borgeson steering box (my orig one was shot ).

T56 6 speed, nothing makes you smile more than driving a stroked big block except getting 20 mpg doing it.

I'm with Jay Leno on this one and have to go with disc brake upgrade. If you can't stop as fast as all those other cars and trucks on the road today you're putting other people and yourself in jeopardy.

Wheels and Tires that actually fill the wheel wells!

If you are going consensus I would say larger radial tires 1st l, wheels may be #2
3 would probably be the chain steering wheel with a pair of handcuffs hanging from the mirror...
