Fukushima II?: Cooper Nuclear Station Near Brownville, Nebraska Flooded

I wonder why there's not much on the web about this potential for a nuclear meltdown?

Because the reactor cooling pumps are above any previous flood stages. Until the pumps go down there will be no core breach.

This isnt their first go round with high water. The summer of 2011 i believe they had high water most of the spring/summer. No biggie...

All the nuke plants are near large bodies of water, far as I know - so they’re built for flooding. I wouldn’t worry about high water until accompanied by an earthquake and tsunami.

I worked at both Fukashima and Cooper for G.E. Cooper will be fine. when things start to get worrisome, they stop making power
and shut down the reactors. Fukashima on the other hand is built on an active faultline, as well as on the ocean. They also don't
have the N.R.C. watching them 24hrs/day like us.

There is a buddy system in Japan cover up everything until it goes away or it can't be covered up. We have it too but its not institutionalized like in Japan. MO.

Yeah, it's their culture. They are very proud. To a fault! Same thing with Chernobyl. The Russians were asked by their neighbors
repeatadly, Is everything allright over there? They kept denying a problem until it was too late. The Kursk Disaster!
The Japanese didn't want to surrender in WWII because they were too proud. We all live on this planet, and when we screw it
up we don't have anywhere else to go to! Keep watching for the next BOOM!
