So.....what.....I'll be doing is using an air horn from a 25 year old Pete....and slamming some 3 foot long 2x6's on the back concrete slab :D

What will y'all be doing??

I am painting in my garage and exhausting it all out for my neighbors!

I'm to cheap to buy fireworks so I built a cannon, huge bang! The family is headed to friends, I'll stay home and finish some drywall then head to the garage to work on dad's truck. That's my idea of a good day.. progress..gluten for punishment.

get used to it, the last cracker night in NSW was on June 7, 1986. its been a long time since we could use them

Firing up my lawnmower at 6:30am
Your time zone or mine?? If you were my neighbor and did that, you might get a blast from my golf ball cannon :D

A buddy came over several years ago with a small cannon. It had just a 3/4" bore but man, that sucker was loud using some black powder and it was just a small charge.

Ah yes, quite the dilemma here in the land of the (still) free this time of year....
which implement of mass boomage to use - you know, since they're all legal?
Decisions, decisions....

I know in years past, it sounded like a freakin' war zone up through the valley most NYE's.
What do you all think? AR platform or good ol' 12 gauge?

I have a couple of neighbors
that always have the best fireworks

I use to do a long ***, loud ***, burnout always
haven't done that even in years

I always hear, a shitload of firearms going off too
up here too...

we are pretty rural
& at midnight the sound really carries

The end of this year deserves long ***, loud *** burn outs!

Fireworks available here, 365 days a year at our smoke shop (eat your heart out, california menthol smokers!) and legal shooting is a half mile up the road, so....
How come last year new years was dead as a doornail?
(Im guessing nobody wanted to waste the ammo they are going to need).

The way everything echoes up the valley out here is pretty awesome.

Used to have several large bore revolvers (shot gun too) and would load them up and then lay em out on a plywood table out back and then two hand them at midnight. Autos dump the 'evidence' onto the ground so they stayed in the house but I sold off all of the revolvers over the years like a dumbass.....so, no guns going off at high midnight.

Well I'm not going out to BLM land just to blow off some ammo at midnight, if anything I may go outside and give a few very loud screams of, "F you 2020, good riddance". But that's going to be the extent of my excitement for the evening.

Drinking. I have some home brew Oatmeal Stout and Orange Shandy to try and a few spirits to enjoy. Brisket, crab legs, scallops and hors devours.
