That confirms what I thought. I just went and measured without taking the wheels off. I'm getting 53" to outside of the brake drum face. That probably puts the axle flange to axle flange closer to 52.5" to 52.75" which is only around 2" shorter than stock.

My 1965 Belvedere I street wedge was originally EE1 dark blue. I ordered a vintage a Dizler paint sample, but it doesn't have any metallic flake in the sample which I don't think is correct. A local paint store can't find a blend for the factory color either. I'm just trying to get a sample...

Just wanted to report back. I opted to install the Flaming River steering coupler. I couldn't be happier. Any and all slop I had in the steering is gone and lots of header clearance now. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to tighten up the steering and/or gain header clearance.

I got my build card from Chrysler. Good news is that my body tag is original and everything matches. There are a few things I can't find what they mean: •Tires - 33 •Axel - 3 Anything else here outside of what I got from the body data tag? Can any reproductions of this be obtained?
