I can't speak to their current quality but I purchased PUI 9 years ago on my 72 and I thought the quality was good. After seeing someone else's car with a legendary interior (in person), the look and feel was noticeably better in my opinion and felt more like an oem product. I wasn't unhappy...
I want to say I bought that exact set and had issues with any of them fitting correctly over the center link and not working. I live close to summit so I ended up going there and buying the tool below. It worked perfectly and is better adjustable to any car size...
I watched your thread as you built it and hate to see you sell it. I get it though, I sold my 72 as well and you just have to move on to other things. You did a fantastic job on her! If I was in the market I would be all over this one.
I hate Fed Ex as well but UPS or USPS isn't much better.
This might be a dumb idea but have you contacted Pac 'n Mail to see if maybe they have it in a corner somewhere? might be worth a try.
I would recommend doing your own seats. Like 1STMP said, you just need some hog ring pliers and a lot of hog rings and you will be good to go. I didn't have any experience before I did mine and they turned out really well in my opinion. The only tip that I can offer is that if they have lines or...
I am huge fan of the brown/bronze on the 69 chargers. You really can't go wrong on a color on a 69 charger (except maybe plum crazy in my opinion). Good luck and I am following along!
Hi and welcome!
I am not sure which version A pillar since you have a 71 (early models have 2 holes) but Tony's moparts sells them new and they are of great quality. They are somewhat expensive but they look and feel just like the originals...
Sorry I never responded but I didn't see this until this morning.
LOL! You aren't wrong, it's very cheap in comparison to other manufactures and I have always loathed Ford engineering. I was pretty surprised at some of the gaps and overall quality of material but I got a hell of deal on the car...
I can agree with this 100% having owned a 2010 R/T myself. They feel similar to the old cars but with the but with the comfort of a new car. I almost bought a 2018 hellcat but went with a supercharged Mustang GT instead. I wanted the better handling and it was A LOT cheaper than the hell cat
Welcome! I am not able to help with your question but I live down the street from Summit, I hope to see your car out there sometime! You might get more help in the 71-74 section if you ask your question there.
Unfortunately I don't have the valance anymore otherwise I would give it to you. No, mine was a standard 340 Roadrunner. I would have loved to have the GTX option but those are far nd few between.
I do not think they all came with the larger cut outs for the exhaust. Until recently, I thought they were the same until someone pointed out that I didn't have them on my car. I have small recesses on my valence and they looked like cut outs so I thought they were the proper ones. It doesn't...
