20th annual Crusin' the Coast. Mississippi Gulf coast from Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs and all points in between. Not just Mopars, but over 7,000 registered cars and runs from Oct 2nd (always the 1st Saturday of October) thru Oct 9th with Saturday the 8th being the biggest day. 3rd year with my 70 V code Roadrunner, 3rd year I'll have a mohawk to remind myself that I'm on vacation, 2nd year that mohawk will be colored Roadrunner purple like his head feathers :) Thursday the 6th will be Mopars at the Marina in Long Beach, and it will be awesome again!
If you have been, I don't have to tell you to go again, if you haven't, GO CHECK IT OUT!

Sorry about that. Posted accidentally.

We are going for the first time. We pre registered several months ago and are going down Friday to get an early start. I'm concerned that I might miss some of the events. I've heard it's lots of fun and I hope that an information packet will be available when we arrive.
My wife has booked a beautiful condo and I have a feeling that she may spend most of her time there on the balcony. That will leave time for my sons and I to explore.

Click on the link in my post, click on "menu" on that Web page, and voila! There is a schedule and more! The action really picks up as the week goes by, I have learned that for me, getting there the Saturday (Oct 1 this year) before it starts to setup "camp" is a good idea.

Did you end up going ?

Did you go early Oct 1st like you said ?

we need our car ****....LOL

Between my wife and I working on clearing the lot in Waveland MS that we closed on 5 weeks ago and was working at that same day, being told that I would have help to install the transmission in the Roadrunner only to find out in the last few days before Crusin the Coast that that guy wasn't going to help, and having her 421 rebuilt and on the engine run stand the day before CtC started, it was a TON of work to get ready and down there. Finally got the travel trailer there, Roadrunner late Tuesday evening (we went for a short cruise) GTO Wednesday evening....
So we missed about half of the week, but the best days we were there. Thursday was the first full day and that is also Mopars at the Marina, Friday was great, and Saturday (the BIGGEST day) we got to Bay St. Louis for 6:45am. Parked, detailed both cars and walked around. We wrapped up around 4pm but Bay St. Louis was rolling well into the evening. I went back out at 7pm and a buddy I met 3 years ago there cruised the entire coast in my Roadrunner. HUGE crowds all along Hwy 90 and lots of traffic, but the Roadrunner was a big hit and I had a blast. Got back to Waveland around 12:30AM!

If you click on the link in the original post, there are some picks on the website.

We went for the first time and had a blast! We stayed on beach road and had a "car show" all day long from our balcony. We gave my son the digital camera and told him to take pictures everywhere we went. He took hundreds of pictures! Here are a few of the good (Mopar) pictures. As to the last picture, Mopar or not, that is a beautiful car.

I can't say it enough. It's a MUST ATTEND. Once you go, and I mean for as much of the WHOLE week as possible, it will be an annual event for you.

I’ve been going to this venue for the past 14 yrs. it changes yearly some good some bad but always great cars. If someone could get the Mopar guys together and bring their extra parts you could make a killing at swap meet. I walked the yard for two days found nothing worth having.

I understand that your emphasis is on Mopar parts, Mopars at the Marina is about showing Mopars, but maybe that could lead to a Mopar swap meet? Just an idea...

Trust me My wife and I go for a week and love every minute of it, great time. Got to talk with the street outlaw bunch looks like they will stop at the house, they want me to roast a pig for them. Maybe my friends will come back around and I can finish my shop .LOL

Cool. I don't know if you saw me at Mopars at the Marina. I am the 6'3" guy who had the 70 440+6 lemon twist Roadrunner and the Purple Mohawk....

Sorry I missed the Thursday gathering my wife wanted to attend the auction due to I refuse to put A/C in my pro street car. I'm good with that she won't scratch on me when I release the trans brake or open cutouts.
