Hi all I have a 67 charger that has been in the family all its life. It's a numbers matching stock 318la with a edelbrock intake and fitech fuel injection, pertronix igniter 3 ignition. Finished restoration 6 years ago with 48000mi and now has 65000mi so needless to say I drive it. Anyway to get to my question my 318 is getting tired and looking for a crate motor with a little more power but not trying to break the bank want to keep it under $5000 if it is possible, looking at possibly a 360la or magnum any suggestions or help, not completely against rebuilding the 318 but don't want to put money into it if I can get something better for the same price
All suggestions and help is greatly appreciated thank you

too bad you're not in Western NY area...Machine shop I know of would rebuild that 318..new pistons/bearings/etc and do the heads for 3500

Do some research if you're thinking of Blueprint. There have to be some reputable builders up near you in Canada. Have one of them rebuild yours or rebuild a larger displacement core.

There's a build (rebuilt new also ) 340 mag down here by me for $5000 obo guy says it's worth every penny motors are getting pricier that's for sure it's a 1969 setup with X heads
