have a 67 factory slant 6 car.The car now has a Hemi and 4spd,I believe the rear leafs are shot because even after installing new Bilstein shocks, when I hit uneven pavement with both tires it feels and sounds like the rearend is comin' thru the floor.I am thinking of replacing the springs with new ss springs because I want more ride height but I also want a decent ride.Opinion?

Slant 6 to a Hemi?

Positively! SS springs are an upgrade even over stock HD springs. Might also consider looking into your torsion bars (front), since your's will be the light set.

The car rides and handles fine with the front sway bar, just seems to have no spring rate going on in the back. 528,630hp mopar stage 5,very pleased with performance.

I have a set of Mopar brand new never used SS springs if you are interested $150 plus shipping

I don't think the SS springs are known for ride quality. If your car is used primarily for street you may want input from other members who are using the SS springs.

I also have a set of new street hemi Mopar rear springs for $150 plus shipping,

I you go with S/S springs you have to buy the front perches for them. They move the front eye back two inches. S/S springs from the front eye to the spring locating pin is two inches shorter.

Bought SS for my dart, too stiff for cruising, I let the spring shop take em apart and reconfigure em, they removed a blade from each side and turned one around, nice and comfy now, still launches well on command with street tires, bought restoration springs for my 69 R/T from mopar performance tru the Dodge dealer to save shipping, ask for garage price.
