Anyone restore wiper motors

I did mine myself it came out pretty good although it dont have the correct cad plating but it sure looks close. I posted a pic of it but i don't know how to post a link to the thread.
Your motor came out pretty nice. However Chrysler stopped using cad in the early sixties and used gold zinc instead.

Call Dan at Wiperworks 931-598-9573, he's in Tennessee
I have heard that Dan has passed

The finishes on these motors vary widely from dull and dark to bright and shiny. They are not all smooth some even have deep machining marks in them. An NOS motor can be dull on the outside from exposure to the elements, even in a box, but if you open them up they are shiny on the inside. I have never been able to find anyone that has a pic of a back in the day motor.

Do you have a website? Can you post pictures here of your work?

Ever thought about being a vendor here for more exposure?

I have a friend that sent one in through his local NAPA and had his done. Said it looked good and was less than most others are charging

I have 4 of Bruce's motors right now and several more in the past. Great part and service.

Had a bad experience with Kim also. Did get my parts 6 mos. after they were supposed to be done. The work was great but after having to hound her to keep the promises she made and still be 6 mos. late I could never send her anymore business. It's too bad but seems to happen to many vendors.

2nd that on Passion for Mopar (Kim) only part that was replated was the barrel. The rest was fiz canned. Took it apart and there was still some dirt in the big gear. Not to mention she took 3X as long as she advertised.

Is there a, not recommended vendor list on this sight?
