This car was from Elgin Ill.
Car originally was a factory 426 wedge and factory 4 speed.
The engine was built by Larry Teter Automotive.
Trying to find anyone who knows the car or info about who bought Larry's business.
Contacted family but have ran out of leads.
Odometer shows 30 K miles. Car in really good shape for it's age.\
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks,Dennis

Update

:headbang::hello2:

Finally received an e-mail from someone who recognized my car.
Phoned the ORIGINAL owner who bought the car Dec 1964 for approx $3200. Talked to him for over about the car.
Raced car for approx 2 1/2 years before putting it away. Kept if for another 19 years before family needs prompted him to sell.
The car is exactly the way it is today as it was before he sold it.
Car was VERY fast for it's time and dynoed out near 900HP.
For the owner it brought back very fond memories and his wife wanted me to sell it to her. Will keep updates coming

Cool story.... Road Runner....?

It's always cool to contact the original owner of your car.... It adds to the personality of the car.
I'm wondering about the Road Runner on the door.....? If the car was put away after 2 1/2 years from Dec 64, that puts in at early 67. First Plymouth Road Runner came around late in 67 as a 68 model. Just coincidence...? It would be interesting to know what motivated the original owner to paint that on the door.

Nice car, neat story!
My opinion? The Road Runner pic was painted on sometime in 1968, 1969 or around that time.

Boy am I pissed about letting that one slip through my fingers.

Glad you are enjoying it and gathering the history.
