Rain gutter question

Friend of mine is doing a 67 B-body restoration...he wants to know about the side rain gutters at the top of the car...are they smoothed with seam sealer or bondo or what?

Thank you....my friend is restoring a true 67 WO Coronet...has 8,000 miles on it, still retains original engine
