These are almost like creases. Its not bog. Would this be caused from a front impact?

Ya know my 69 had lead in that spot from the factory and my son n laws charger may have lead there as well. I know that it knocked out when I began disasembly, not saying Im correct but that's what i'm thinking is lead at the bottom of post

Not bog?
Was that "autoccorrect" for Bondo?
That is a place where the factory did use lead. If corrosion gets behind it, it can and will separate from the steel. You might have to dig/melt it out, eliminate any corrosion and refill with either more lead or a safe filler.

No kidding, huh? That is funny.
Watching that British show "Wheeler Dealers" has opened my eyes to new ways to say things.

Door cards = The interior door panel.
All Sorted = All figured out and fixed.
Niggly bits = Tedious details.
Past it = Finished, worn out.
Cheeky = Ballsy or arrogant
Knickers = Underwear.

fenders= wings hood=bonnet and my favorite phrase " I'm speechless, like a slapped dog !" hahahahah

Whats the best way of attacking it?
I have said this before about rust.....it's like an iceberg, only about 10% is visible or shows. The remaining 90% needs to be exposed and dealt with. To me, that car would not pass an New Zealand OR Australian road safety/worthiness check.
Best to find a good panelbeater that you trust (if you cannot do it yourself) and get that dealt to, before it becomes more of a nightmare than it could be already.
I definitely would not be 'mashing the go pedal' before getting that sorted out. :steering:

A.K.A.
"Going mud boggin'"
Bog is actually a really good word - for example, Irishmen are known in slang terms as Bog Arabs. An Irishman/woman, or person of Irish decent. It is said that an Irishman is a Bog Arab due to the plethora of peat bogs to be found in Ireland.
