Has anyone used a complete aftermarket 1970 Roadrunner grille?? After looking around for the few pieces I need to make mine perfect, I would be at the cost of the aftermarket unit and wouldn't have to paint.

I priced out a repro '70 RR grille and it was about $1000 if I remember correctly....ouch! I picked up 3 grilles at a swap meet (+ one on my car now) and am going the restore/paint route.

You can get entire grille including outer stainless trim for around $425, but was more curious about the fit and quality.

Sorry to hijack, but where can you get a '70 grille for $425? I might go that way since I have to repaint what I have now anyhow.

Again, sorry to hijack & I hope this info. is useful too tnfastback to since we're both working on '70 Road Runners.... Anyway, what color(s) "should" a '70 RR grille be? What paint do you use & where to buy it? Mine is a hodge-podge off of 3 different cars, so I'm not sure. THANKS! (& sorry to hijack)
