Always a nice show. Lots of cars. Forecasting 98 degrees, down from 108 on Thursday.

We'll see you there Dennis. Cold spell coming through next weekend - dropping down into double-digits.

I've always wanted to come by, but the timing has not been good. Going to Eagle Lake on the next day, Sunday - just too busy. I will be at Hot August Nights in Reno for a few days in Aug. Take lots of pictures!

Thank you, Dennis. I had no idea that our humidity was that high though. 36% today??? 40 % tomorrow? I heard it was in the single digits in Arizona. Maybe that is how the lizards there can take the 120 degree heat.
Yeah, show day this Saturday. As always, the show is on grass at Hagen Park with plenty of shade trees. Not the best for pictures but it really helps if the weather is hot. I'll be there working the show like I do every year. Feel free to say hello.

My day will start out working but ending with a great car show. I think the Bee will make the drive this year. It has always had something happen so it could not go but not this year!!!!!!!

I will be there directing the cars as they come in. This will be my first BIG effort since the stent so don't know how long I will last but I will have the GTX there in the members parking area.

Bump. Anyone going from the Bay area? Plan to leave San Jose around 06:45.

Dennis,I dig that you drive to all these shows, some real nice shows too.One of these days I will fly put for Hot August nights and ride in the back of that Duster!

I actually have a trophy from that show dated 1993. I used to live in San Jose and attended that show every year until 1997, or 98.

Interesting story; the club had a 70s Challenger for raffle, with drawing at the show that day. I believe it was a really nice 318 survivor car. Anyhow, en route to the show at 6AM that morning someone ran a red light and mashed the front fender well beyond any repair. Throughout the day they were announcing that insurance would cover the car's repairs and please buy more raffle tickets. I bought one, but didn't win, or course.

I've always wondered what happened to that car...........

The story I heard from the club President was that the winner was a woman. She was given the choice of either the car with free repairs or $5000 in cash. She took the money.
I wonder if she regrets the decision???

Kern Dog and Darius parking cars. Award winning truck. Viper. Dwayne, Maria, CoronetDarter. Nice 68 Charger.

Wow, what a long day! We got lucky with the weather since the temps dropped from the highs in the 110 range earlier in the week. With so many of the classic car crowd now on the other side of 50, the heat really has an effect on turnout. Thank you to all that attended!

thanks for the photos Dennis:) I'm already planning for next year since this year was a bust for me. Looking forward to seeing the progress CoronetDarter has made on his 2 cars. Going to have to make a late summer / autumn trip before then when the weather tames down.

We were hoping to see you this year. Next year for sure.

Sacramento Delta 160 always a great route home towards the Bay Area. Perfect day.

That is a great road. There are a few curves, some great scenery, some cool old farm houses, some interesting bridges to see...

On entering the Show, a photographer was waiting. This is a nice touch. If you are planning a Show or involved, this is a nice perk. You will get at least one good pic of your car. Like many, mine looks a lot better here than in person.
