So I ordered wheel cylinders for my car from Summit. Yes, they sell the "Made in China" DORMAN crapola. I ordered part numbers W40417 driver's side, and W40416 pass side.
Well, I received two right side cylinders one of which was in the W40417 box.
I called Summit, they told me to keep it and sent me another W40417 that ended up being ANOTHER passenger side/right wheel cylinder in the wrong box.
I just got off the phone and they will try again, this time checking the parts before they ship.
Three time's a charm? Geeesh! Now I have a collection of right side wheel cylinders.

A wrong part made in China? Really ???

That reminds me of the joke about the Chinese couple that wanted to give birth to a white baby. The Doctor sadly told the couple that..."Two Wongs don't make a white".

MORE CHINESE GARBAGE BEING FORCED UPON US !

I bought some wheel vintiques ralleys from them. I got defective ones twice. 3rd. Time was good. They have to have 2 mistakes before they physiclly go to the warehouse and visually check items in a box. Company policy. It prevents wild goose chases if it's just a single mistake.

I am reminded of the old prank call we did when we were kids....
"Hello?"
"Ah hello is Wing there?"
"No, who....."
"Oh is Wong there?"
"No!"
"Oh I think I wing the wong numbah!"

...yeah we were idiots lol

An oriental gentleman goes to an eye doctor and the doctor says, "I know why you've been having trouble. You have a cataract." and the oriental gentleman says, "No, I drive a rincon continental."

I was a bit surprised, and disappointed that the Raybestos 'Professional' rear wheel cylinders that the local family owned auto parts store special ordered for me where indeed made in China. I probably paid 20, or 30% more for these thinking I was getting something of excellent quality and they looked just like the Centric cheapos that I took off the car. Live and learn, I guess.

My friend who manages a local brake shop recommended Raybestos brand for all replacement parts. Maybe I did get something better, but I doubt it.
