ebay really phukking sucks

You have to put it in quotes if you want to find a specific item.

Or go to preferences and select e Bay motors parts, Used and you will be able to find it.

Couldn't find it in the first 50 results either (with a few different keywords)
But I did find a little poohsaaay.

Sometimes I do the Advanced search and I put FITS in the "Exclude words from this search" it eliminates most garbarge when I search for a part .Try It

I just put it like this under the normal search, example:
nos 1977 mopar -(fits) or nos 1977 mopar -(fits, used, will fit).

I sell and buy in eBay. No complaints.

I spelled it wrong and it came right up.

E-scam sucks ***, I quit buying off E-scam
or advertising/selling on it either...

It use to be the best, now too much crap too many variables etc.

far too much rusted worn out ol' crap
passed off as NOS or good parts, for a small fotune
& no I'm not a "cheapskate price point shopper"
that squeezes pennies either
& most the photos of other parts & the descriptions
are far from what the seller is selling, come of the Google photos etc.

I do still rarely list a few parts on Craigslist locally only
from time to time, usually sell in the 1st couple days too,
only reason I even look on E-scam is a link here usually or
is if I see some stuff is available
or what the comparable prices sold for somewhere else,
or you have to buy from there because the seller
doesn't have their won web page selling

I list it far cheaper on Craigslist & no solicitations either...

I use to get a **** load of spam when I listed anything on E-Scam too...

Been screwed over far too many times...
E-scam gets there's & they could care less what happens on your end...
Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice shame on you,
Fool me more than twice, it ain't gonna' be happening anymore...

I have to say for buying I have found some good stuff on eBay, but you have to reeeallllyyy look and know what your are buying. I have somewhat figured out how to search with out getting 5,000 results for Chinese garbage that "fits your 1967 Dodge Coronet".

As for selling it can be a crap shoot. I have an eBay store through my business, but we use it to sell remnant or overstock material. Looked at it for selling new products (hand tools, power tools, etc.), but the eBay fees and competing against asshats in there basement with no overhead, no stock and just drop shipping, not abiding by manufacturers minimum sales price, and all for 5-10% profit we decided it made no sense for us.

As well, eBay will always err on the side of the buyer. I sold a ton of auto audio equipment a few years ago, really good stuff, was into it for years, and every transaction went well, except one. I sold a high end set of component speakers and listed all over the place "2 ohm" as they must be wired correctly to work properly. I got contacting about a week after the sale saying they were junk and crackling and popping. I thought BS, and I hope this idiot hasn't blown these speakers. I put right in my add, no returns, as it's electronics I didn't want some idiot who didn't know what they were doing to blow an amp or speaker by hooking it up wrong...or they have a blown amp/speaker, order mine and then try to return their POS. I was nice to the guy and tried to help walk him through how to hook everything up to his stereo and he kept saying they didn't work and he turned into a real dick accusing me of selling him blown speakers. I knew they worked when I sent them out and was really hoping he didn't F them up. So after bitching with eBay several times, because I only selected the no return option and didn't "type" it into the actual product description (the BS clause they stated) I had to refund him his money, his shipping, and I had to cover his return shipping (major bull **** by the way) or they would close my account and take the money anyway, as they also own Paypal and had the funds locked so I couldn't withdraw them. That's when I said I am done. I got the speakers back and immediately wired them up together at 4 ohms to my home stereo (car stereos were all gone at this point) and what do you know, they worked fine. Stupid SOB. Either he had a bad amp, or was wiring them to a 4 ohm amp. I still have that set of speakers in the closet. I'll use them some day, or they will sit there for all I care. I won't sell anything like that again on eBay.

I quit searching for parts on Ebag several years ago simply because of the completely unrelated junk that often shows up in searches.

I always add "- fits" to my searches.

weeds out all the adds that say "fits 66-74 Mopar" and crap like that, otherwise the first 32 pages are antenna toppers and mud flaps.

Thanks for the tip. I will have to add that to my searches.
