After Cruz Pendegron ended a qualifying run with a parachute failure and a trip into the sand trap he was quick to point the finger at his crew chief. I understand his frustration but this isn't the fist time he's been quick to blame his crew. Hey Cruz, you're the owner!!! The buck stops with you. If you don't have confidence in your crew, replace them. By the way, how were you doing in competition when you were acting as crew chief?

I thought this was going to be something about ted cruz.

Give me some time. I'll see if I can come up with something....:)

He is an idiot & a childish asshole,
always blames everyone else...

He wasn't doing well "at all" before Aaron {spelling ?}
took over the Crew Chief duties, if the field was over 16 cars
he'd rarely ever qualify before that, Tony his brother was even worse
at-least now he/Cruz can qualify, usually...

far better than he was doing for the past almost 10 year
he has fallen so far, it's arrogance I suspect,
he's the owner driver & partial tuner...
Seems the buck should stop at him...

I feel sorry for SnapOn. Their track record for picking owners/racers who are great representatives of the sport is not very good.

I don't care for either of the Pedrigoons, when Tony took Mike Dunn's spot I quit watching.

I have to respectfully disagree. Steve Johnson was a fantastic representative for them until they bailed and went with Cruz. Steve was producing results, too. I suppose Pro Stock Bike wasn't giving them the bang for the buck they wanted, so they went with a Nitro Funny Car. Overall, I bet they actually had more bang for the buck with Steve, though.

I think Cruz is a throwback - can tune, own and drive. But he probably isn't at his best right after something like that happens. He's just too emotional to have the camera in his face right after. But he does tell it like it is. In this case, he could have not thrown Brooks under the bus so far. Many of the drivers pack their own chutes. I guess he doesn't.
