Short story here, got a new upper dash from Classic, looked good at first but wouldn't fit the dash...the channel was full of excess foam and extra vinyl, etc, so I sent it back. Second dash showed up, less crap in the channel, actually fit a little better but I had to force it on and then it developed a huge bulge on the pass side and looked like ***......of course, I returned it.
3rd dash showed up, nice in the channel, no bumps or bulges at first but I still had to hammer it on....end result: more bulges, warping and looked like crap once it was tightened up...
WTF? ....Sick of waiting for dashes, I decided maybe it was my dash frame or maybe I'm doing something wrong, .... nope, it was still the new dash...
Do yourself a favor, take a die grinder and route out the entire channel in the dash until it looks like the channel on your old one...Once you can slide it in place without any force, it will look pretty damn nice..The Chinese guy stamping these out obviously has nothing to test these against, so it probably ain't his fault....BUT, I shoulda known better dealing with these Asian parts... I thought it would fit right outta the box like they claimed...Stupid me, I missed the part in the instructions where it says "this dash will fit like an AMD cowl panel"...Hope this helps a few of you guys dealing with this issue. Side note: The dash pad is extremely flexible, you can easily bend it on your knee to get the contours right, but don't overdo it. Many thanks to Classic for their help with this also, great company!

I believed Classic once when they stated that their 4-speed consoles fit like the originals. Ya right. Seems like everything they sell is the absolute cheapest/crappiest version they can get their hands on. Haven't bought from them in years.

High priced Chinese JUNK!

I am not a fan of CI either and cannot recall when I last purchased from them...

I got no complaints with Classic, everything they sell comes with at least a 1 year warranty...Some of the phone guys are dolts, but that's everywhere....I'm convinced everyone in the resto parts biz all get their Chinese junk from the same vendors but it's how they respond to the junk parts that matter to me....

some parts but you will be surprised there are many vendors out there.....Some perform quality control better when purchasing these parts or tooling them versus another.....

I agree with your last statement.....it is how they respond....You may want to try Mega Parts, Jaime is the man and doesn't rape you on shipping and is a zero question return....

I've been down the frustrating dash pad road and thankfully I was able to clean up my original in the end. P&G's china version has excellent grain and zero correct detail. Legendary's, that is promised to be correct in every detail (for $200 more), is VERY well made in the detail department yet has ZERO grain evident, despite them saying they've done their best putting some in. I've asked repeatedly and nobody has stepped up to tell me where you can get a correct detail and grained dash pad for 68/69/70. Hopefully someone comes up with one before I have to do my 'Bird. SURELY someone does them correct, where are the concurs resto shops getting theirs??

I ordered a dash pad for a 62 Plymouth from MrMoparts. It was not cheap and it peeled back on all corners after one day on the car. One day. And getting a refund was like pulling teeth. Companies are making **** products for gold prices.

rps (restoration parts source.) has them, don't know on quality was looking for my ash tray pad which they don't have

Ah, not good to hear that none of these fit correctly. Was going to re-dye my original but it has some very light cracking on the top edge.
