My car is an original N96 Ramcharger optioned car, but I converted it from an auto to a 4-speed. I need to know the exact location of the dash mounted reverse lamp.

Like I said Joel, I can give you the exact light location.. just can't guarantee on the cable location as I "borrowed" my hood in 1979 from my buddy's Bee.

Thanks Wayne. I will take those lamp measurements if you could post them up when you get a chance. My cable is in the factory position so then we will know if the 2 parts are supposed to be stacked.

Will get it tomorrow, distance from the ash tray cut out. Then you can confirm the cable mounting.. lol

There would have to be a big plastic plug if there was Roger. Hole is below the pad. Here are some good shots showing hole location vs the slot/oval for the pad screw.

Almost forgot. Center of light is 2.25" over from the ash tray edge. Now you let me know if I have the hood cable in the correct place..

Same as what I'm showing. Hole is in metal dash frame, not in the pads. Light sits right below the pad. Why I said he'd see the hole if it was there, they'd have to plug it.

Well, now I am really confused. The pic of the bare dash is my 69 Bee with the original carb air cable mount at 1 inch to the left of the left ashtray opening. The other pic is my 69 Road Runner original 4-speed car. The reverse light on that car is 1 3/16" left of the left side of the ashtray opening. I would not have thought the reverse light would be in a different location Dodge/Plymouth. Unless it was moved a bit if a car had the fresh air option? This is why I am dragging my feet on drilling a hole in my dash.

Ha.. maybe the line worker should have used the third hole to the left for the cable! Then we'd match! LOL

All I know for sure, my light and it's position is OE. Feb 25, 1969 scheduled build, Lynch Road.

Do you think Dodge and Plymouth would have put the lamps in different spots? I am also positive my RR lamp is original and in the original location.
Sure hope someone else has a car with these 2 options, although the way this is going, that car will be different than both of ours lol.

Hard with the shot on an angle, but I'd say Justin's light is where mine is and his cable is where yours is on his GTX.
