So I am changing my dash harness and is there anything you all suggest I do while I have it all apart? Fun fun

Define all apart? Like the dash is out of the car? any other problems with the dash components?

No dash is in and all works just harness is hacked up thats why I am changing it.

A few... I can't imagine with the dash in, my back's still sore from tracing 12 volts through my flasher circuits!

well I decided to install the buddy seat so I took the seats out and that makes it so much easier for my tall butt.

If you pull the cluster, radio, glove box it should not be too bad.... Though I have never done it in the car, both I have done the dash is on a stand in the house ;)

I bought the new seal gasket kit for wipers from Muscle motors and it even included a butyl rubber ring for sealing shaft against underside of cowl. This was an extra seal piece (according to them) that was not included OEM. Seems to work great and I commend them for the extra.

I have done it before in a car so its all good.

I always put a dab of dielectric grease in every connector.

That's the way to go hope it wasn't a bench seat that would be a hell of a lot harder to get out now you can rest your big *** on the floorboard

were does the 4spd reverse light plug into?

'Z' in the bulkhead connector.

so feed the wire to that spot?

Gave Dave pictures.. but here they are for anyone else working through this later. Jumper from trans switch wires to the lower drivers side (Z) location on the bulkhead and the single added in black/w wire inside from the mating location to the dash light.
