If they are the slightly tapered posts similar to the body emblem those are just a self cutting sheet metal nut. Can you put up a picture of the emblem?

We get Blizzards and some heavy snow occasionally. And plenty of dreary days in fall/winter. But from now until November it's hard to beat our area. We don't have any of the natural disasters you've listed.

But I'm used to seeing them splay outwards not in. It just seems backwards and wrong to me. (And I'm not really a purist either...)

It sounds like a centering valve problem with the steering control box. See if they can flush it out first. How old is the pressure hose? Might want to put a new one one and then flush it out.

It's possible to cut the brackets off one lower arm and weld them on the other. But doing it on the car might be tricky.

I would wait until you get the front sway bar installed. I'd also suggest new bushings in the rear springs and shackles. Then see how it handles.

That's why I do all my own work. The sad part is an SSBC conversion is super easy. Just a few medium sized bolts.

Your bulb test was backwards (polarity reversed). The outer metal shell of the light bulb is negative. The two soldered posts on the bulb are each running light and brake light. Since it's just a filament the bulb will light with polarity swapped which is what you did. But it's not how they...

I would suggest pulling the sending unit and taking a look inside the tank and look at the fuel sock. Look closely, I had one pick up fibers from the trunk mat and it would plug up the longer you ran it. Let it sit and it would run fine for a bit. Got slowly worse and worse.

All the 5.9 magnum stuff with the airgap intake. And yes I would use fuel injection but you would need to create a fuel system for it.
