do i need a breather type valvecover cap, on one side of the engine and my pcv valve in the other, right now i just have a pcv in one cover and a twist cap in the other....

in my 63 440 i have a slightly built 69 440 rebuilt stock trans, and 275/60 15 rear tires, looking for what size gear to use.. for a street/strip and what for a 1/4 mile and would it be better to use a 15'' slick or a stock 14 type slick for the 1/4 mile

why cant i use later axles, backing plates and drums to make my early rear into a later 8-3/4 i know an a body 8-3/4 would fit well, but looks like i could make the one i have into a later rear i have all the later stuff.....
