    383 Mopar Purple Cam

Best oil for a roller cam engine

If you’re going to try and buy performance oil locally, you will probably have the easiest time finding Valvoline VR1. I’d use 20w50 in that build. If you’re going to order oil, I’d use Driven Hot Rod 15w50. It’s available in petroleum or synthetic.

Still waiting for results, but no denial that she has lymphoma. With chemo, probable best case get a few months of quality time with her then say goodbye. Will know more tomorrow. Devastating....... Thought I would be growing old with her in retirement.

Ahh!! The manual doesn’t mention this… need some help…

Well I went for broke and removed the radiator… will go and grab a few new hoses this afternoon. The power steering pulley and main crank aren’t lining up the greatest. Do I shim the bottom bracket with washers?

    383 Mopar Purple Cam

All of those purple cams will adversely effect power brakes. The 280/474 would be the limit for me. It's about 2 steps more than a stock cam and is enough to "test" your tuning abilities.

Ahh!! The manual doesn’t mention this… need some help…

I seem to recall it necessary to remove the fan and pulley from the front of the water pump to access ALL of the water pump bolts. But I DONT think you need to pull the radiator in order for the fan/pulley bolts to pull out far enough to remove. I recall there is plenty of room between the fan...

South Korea's F-4 Phantoms Final Flight. For All Us Military Aircraft Enthusiasts.

Is that a current video - just now being retired? It’s always a fan of the F4 growing up in the Viet Nam years and seeing news clips of them being launched for missions. But the biggest impression was seeing a National Guard F4 at a Little Rock AfB air show in the 80s. He came streaking down...

    Mopar Action gone again?

Who knows... but the end of print media may actually turn old car mags into collectibles in time? I could see it.

Good bye highway gears. Hello 3.55

3.55 is a good street gear. I switched the Dana 60 in my Coronet over to 3.23 gears since I have a Doug Nash five speed with a low first gear. With a normal trans I'd run a 3.55 on the street.

    67 Charger Fuel fill hose/clamps

Received 4 clamps for the fuel fill elbow hose. I realize 2 at each end, but are they to be spaced out a certain way? Also, why four clamps? Thanks!
