That’s what scares me about auction cars, how to vet them before deciding to bid. Some are “known” cars, others who knows what is up with them, if they have skeletons in the closet or are 100% legit. The V code Coronet vert I mentioned I’ve not seen before, you can’t get underneath these cars...
Lol, except for the bumper guards, you stole my car back in the 80’s. Mine did go 145mph(with 383&3.23’s). It took awhile to get there. Now I know why you like mine.
I had an issue where I adjusted the booster pushrod too tight. I was aiming to cut down on the free play of the pedal and I went too far. The brakes reacted great but stayed engaged to some degree, making the brakes smoke! There are tools to measure the booster pushrod length but I've found it...
Yeah, too many aholes with lifted trucks in the Houston area. My old 79 1 ton single wheel wasn't lifted but it had 33's on it and used it a lot in high water areas to help stranded people get going. I never drove any of my cars out during those times of bad weather. The roads in my area were...

ignition module most likely , i had that problem years ago but when my car either started or studddered after letting go of the key it would then start normally .
Good modules are hard to find .
Msd is nice or points or pertronix .
The rear bumperettes are the same; '64 Dodge and '65 Coronet. The fronts are different between the two. Ask me how I know. I have a real nice set of '65 Coronet front bumperettes for sale. Still would like a nice pair of '64 fronts.
Thanks for the photos Chad.
I guess the previous owner(s) got carried away taking them off and broke them.
Mine will still function the way they are...
Prices are falling on many. Redeyes are holding up better. There are narrow body 6spd manual ones out there if you want the stick.
I have both hellcat and old, if you can swing both in the stable you should in my opinion.
Hello, I’m Steve and I have a 1978 Dodge Monaco Police Package car. I’ve owned it for ~ 9 years. Looking forward to sharing information about these “B” body beauties
Enjoyed reading this. We have an old Ariens rider mower that is all metal and does a great job. I just had a friend offer me his 15 year old Cub Cadet rider for free. I wasn't sure I wanted another project but decided to take it on. I mean, a mower for free, how could I resist. It cranks over...
