    Cowl mesh screen mounting hardware.

Thanks for the photos Chad. I guess the previous owner(s) got carried away taking them off and broke them. Mine will still function the way they are...

    Cowl mesh screen mounting hardware.

Thanks guys for your responses. Mark - I figured that I had broken clips on mine after looking at some images of cowl screens online. I'll leave them as they are - the screws are more than enough to keep them in place.

    My 1971 Road runner

I had time last night to install the cowl screens. I posted a question over on the exterior section asking where can the rectangular hardware be found. Also I installed the splash shields. Now to move on to trying to polish the fine scratches out of the rear glass before it gets installed.

    Cowl mesh screen mounting hardware.

Got my cowl mesh screens on the car. I bought the mounting screws from Roseville Dodge - they are listed for an E-Body, but work just fine. My question is: Where do you get the rectangular hardware that goes in these rectangular openings? I don't see them listed anywhere.

Next is the lower rad hose. And alternator. Other than finding a correct length V-belt and installing an overflow hose, the engine compartment stuff is pretty much done. DOH! I almost forgot the throttle cable. Lastly, on to installing the rubber strip on the bracket that sits above the rear...

    My 1971 Road runner

So, for the last little while I've been checking the master cylinder for seepage and sure enough it has started seeping again....:BangHead: Oh well, I'll tackle that again after I get the rest of the engine bay stuff mounted. But before that, I had a buddy come down and give me a hand to set-up...

    Rallye Dash Bulbs

Yes, low resistance is an issue with turn signal flashers - the stock ones will not work with LED's. If you upgrade to LED's for tail lights and signals you will need to use the correct flasher. I bought this one which works well.

1973 Leaf Spring fitment with isolators.

No additional modifications were done. The height of the bushings I had made were to sit flush with the top of the ISO perches. Shocks did not need to be changed. As far as a height difference in the rear, I did not notice any - but the reason for that was my leaf springs were tired - so I had...

    Rallye Dash Bulbs

I bought mine from this website. My bulbs are not the 194's like your are. My bulbs have a circular base. I chose the cool blue ones, but other colors are available.

1973 Leaf Spring fitment with isolators.

I removed it all from my F-body. As the rubber gets old it deteriorates, not to mention the soft mushy ride. That might be nice on a big Cordoba or New Yorker but if you want a nice firm suspension, remove it. On the front, I replaced the iso bushings with the solid ones that Firm Feel makes...
