    Edelbrock ProFlo EFI

I won't lie; I was sweating this one out. After going to the lowest drop base for the air cleaner I found that the height of the unit was going to be tight. I'd wasn't too sure if I could get the hood to close. After I had my friends come over to help install the hood last weekend my fears came...

68 Charger RT - Core support blackout & air diverters

After bolting my junk together, I wasn't sure about painting the blackout on the core support while I had the car blown apart. Looking at the front grill I didn't like the body color showing thru so I procrastinated on how to black it out after everything was assembled. I came up with an idea to...

Comment by '68Moparmaniac' in item 'The hunt for more vacuum'

Thanks Budnicks, So going to manual brakes has a lot of appeal to me. How's you peddle pressure / stopping distance?
  9. The hunt for more vacuum

The hunt for more vacuum - In search of more vacuum

Well the search continues. Adding the vacuum accumulator did in fact help with my low vacuum issue but the lift and lobe separation isn't vacuum friendly plus it gives my EFI fits. The brakes did work much better upon the initial peddle jab but if you had to go back to the brakes immediately the...

    The hunt for more vacuum

Working the problem of border line vacuum for the dual diaphragm booster. My cam shaft is a 110 LSA Bullett, [email protected], 576 lift w/ 1.6 ratio. and at idle I'm pulling just a tick over 17" with the car in park and no load on the engine. As soon as I drop it in gear the vacuum drops to 15.7". So...

TTI headers, big block - spark plug wire routing - pics

I fabricated some Z brackets out of some 20 Ga. SS and attach to the lower VC bolts. Welded some studs on the top flange for some thumb nuts to attach the looms (those black pieces with a knurled head). Works great, keeps the wires away from all that heat and a snap to remove for cleaning, plug...

This one's for sale...only asking $32,000 :fool: Looks like it was pulled out of a canal Base Charger but has R/T badges XP29 car. Is a 383 4 speed car so there's that going for it

Kindigit Design in Salt Lake if money was no object. Those guys build some sweet rides but $$$$$$. When I first moved up here, I had Dave and his sidekick come to the house and quote painting my Charger before they we're TV stars, body work was already done, 30 grand just to paint it, 50 to...
