Running and driving.... a truly collectible car. Certainly he would do better than that??? We never get follow up on these kind of posts. But I think the post claiming $24k for fair shape is more realistic.....we arent talking about a `66-7 belvy or coronet here.

I would scrutinize the wiring diagrams for both.... Mymopar has them for download.

MAR??? I would expect MP. 426?? I would expect to see 42 in a `63. The font is very specific. Maybe a good pic of that front pad would help.

And if you buy one thats been cut on enough, it might not fit anything but the motor it just came off of.

Someone called me last night with a similar story......valve spring failure at only 3000. They were looking for a complete rebuilder engine....as theirs was puking water and oil at failure.

Not a stock oil pickup, idb. Someone will buy that steel crank.

Gubment drone..... those are the worst.

ZF is a good company..... theyve made transmissions for a lot of stuff that may surprise some, including the 6-speed manual in early super dutys and even vettes, as well as many foreign cars.... of course, its just a name on some products. Hopefully a great shock for you. :thumbsup:
