    Early B exhaust questions

    1. Most header catalogs I've seen say no. Probably because of the forward engine placement of a 62-65, compared to a 66-up k-member. BUT.... I've never heard WHY they don't fit, from somebody who has tried it. Since you have the headers already, I'd sure try em, and then come back and tell us...

Oil pressure, how much is too much

I'm totally aware of the differences between the volume and pressure relationship and I want a HIGH VOLUME PUMP. On my RS23V0A****** '70 GTX, the bearing's are: Clevite tri metal (steel backed Babbitt with copper tin overlay) mains, full groove upper and lower @ 0.0025" mains to provide 360°...

    Hemi Engine decipher

I've never heard that. And they probably didn't build them on the second shift. I've always been told it was the number of the engine built that day.

Oil pressure, how much is too much

If there is distributor gear and bushing wear. Just maybe the wrong metal types are being used. Let's also not confuse volume with pressure. I look at it this way. That big oil pump and it higher pressure is worthless without the right bearings.

    Coolant in oil, fresh build

The Felpro head gaskets are like that out of the package (not always very round). From the plugs, I would be looking carefully around cylinder #1. Look closely at the head gasket for discolorations or other indications of lack of sealing. Clean the head and block around the cylinder looking...

Installing new door panels 67 GTX - anyone try self-adhesive Velcro??

I guess it's too much to ask from aftermarket to have the reproduction boards the correct thickness and be as strong as originals.
