    1969 Dodge Coronet R/T

You didn't mention the engine build, so assuming it is a period correct mostly stock engine and not a later motorhome transplant.... then: It's all there minus the AC, mechanical work done, reasonable rust, etc. .... all-in-all a pretty attractive project if this is the type of car someone...

Good bye highway gears. Hello 3.55

I think 3.55’s are a good all-around gear ratio for a weekend cruiser. I have a 3.55 Sure Grip in my ‘58 Apache, acceleration is decent and I’m not afraid to jump on the highway and keep up with the flow of traffic.

    1969 Dodge Coronet R/T

I'm revising my guess down a little. Didn't zoom in to see the trunk is rusted thru. Which means the rear rails are probably pretty crunchy too. Still should fetch $15-20k. And, yes, anybody buying this car to restore will lose their ***. But that is true of just about any project car unless...

    Measuring pinion angle

2-3 degrees has proven good for Cal-tracs here, even on the street. Haha a man after my own heart, who cares about some extra noise or a stiffer ride I want more traction! :D

Our 1964 Belvedere's Super stocker story

Somewhere there's an interview with Buddy Martin telling how years later Wally Parks apologized to him and admitted that what the NHRA did to Chrysler back in those days was wrong. I don't think Buddy was too impressed by the admission. Day late and a dollar short. Or maybe I read it in this...

5 year old Cooper Cobras cracking…… ?. Anyone else? ?

My cars get a few hundred miles a year and set in a garage with heat/AC the rest of the time while I work on one or the other. Not dumping tires after 5 years based on some study for daily drivers.

Getting Vacuum to test box ??

The switch is probably leaking. Looking at the big melt in it I’m guessing the plates inside the switch are shifting and moving as they should. There are after repop ones available and NOS ones still kicking around north on the internet
